Program Overview

As conformance and certification to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 (and other standards) become international business priorities, organizations want to demonstrate that they are capable of meeting the contractual requirements of their customers.

Management System Certification Bodies

The AIAO-BAR program for assessing and accrediting AIAO-BAR certification/registration bodies is based on relevant guides established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). AIAO-BAR monitors activities of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) to ensure international consistency in the application of these internationally established guidelines.
